STAY
Our hotel was a bit far away from Patong Town but it was well worth it as it was at a quiet place. We stayed at Bamboo Beach Resort Hotel & Spa. I booked our hotel from Airasiago. Found it through Expedia. For the price we paid, it was worth the money. The room was big and the service was great. Total of our 3 days 2 night stay was RM180. RM60 per person.

ACTIVITY

We couldn't do much activity as it was raining most of the time. Day 1 we arrived, the weather was down. It started drizzling. We prepared ourselves with our poncho. Brought our poncho wherever we could go. We walked down the beach and there were street food. The street food were halal as the area we stayed at was a Muslim area. Food was no worry for us. We then took a tuk tuk to the Patong Town (which was only 10 minutes walk but we were tired). It cost us 400Baht. We were cheated, the first night. We learnt our lesson. We then spent the whole first night listening to music at Lana Beach Club bar. Coke cost 60B. That's expensive for a coke but we don't drink alcohol. Music was great there. I'd recommend anyone who visits Phuket to go there and hang out and chill. That was the end of day 1. Spent another 200Baht to go back to our hotel.

Shopping wasn't on our list in Phuket. We planned to shop at Krabi, as it would be cheaper. It is slightly difficult to bargain in Phuket because there are a lot of tourist. Unless you're smart enough to mention, "it's cheaper at the shopping mall". We did that. A friend of mine wanted to buy a swimsuit and the seller told her it was 1200Baht. Super expensive! I blurted out, "with that price, the shopping mall is cheaper". The seller decided to decrease her price to 350Baht. Cheap, nay? Cheap! Apart from shopping, you can find places to do massages. You can find massage places as cheap as 200Baht per hour for a Thai massage. The best place I've had my massage so far is in Phuket. The masseuse really knew what she was doing. It was GREAT. I'm sorry. I can't remember where I went. Visually I can remember. My friends and I happen to stumble upon that place because it was the cheapest and it was heavily raining. We needed a place to relax. I don't recommend doing meni/pedi there, even though it is cheap (200Baht). You should just go to a nail salon. Spend more money at a nail salon and you'll be satisfied. After our massage session, we went to hang out at our favourite place. We hung out at Lana Beach Club (again). The crowd was great. We made new friends. Probably the best night we've ever had in Phuket. Chillin' and making new friends. We hung out at the bar till midnight. We then went back to our hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

I found that I spent more on transportation. Transportation back and forth from Phuket to Krabi. Taking tuk tuks. Also renting bikes. It did cost a lot. My budget spent on transportation was more than expected. But thank god I've saved on other places. The cost to go back and forth from would roughly cost me RM300. That's a lot. Considering I budgetted my spendings on transportation at RM200. But it was well worht it at the end. I've learnt my lessons. Go to smaller agents because they'll give you a cheaper price. Taking a tuk tuk is pretty expensive. Renting a motorbike is way more worth it.

I hope you'll enjoy reading this. I have more to post. I'll post on Krabi. If you'd like to see more of my holiday photos, you can follow me on Instagram (@light_silk)!
